TALAS Hosts the Education Innovation Exchange (EIE)
TALAS is proud to host the Education Innovation Exchange (EIE) this week! This unique event brings together executive educational leaders and corporate sponsors to collaborate, exchange feedback, and ensure that products and services entering schools truly meet the needs of all students. This year, we invited business and marketing students from Channelview ISD to partake in this incredible experience.
What to Expect at EIE
- Welcome Reception
Hosted by Just Right Reader, Education Elements, and Innovamat the exchange will kick off on Wednesday, September 10 with a special evening reception. - Morning Session
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and a welcome from TALAS President, Dr. Steven Gutierrez.- Breakfast sponsors — Clickview, NSSI, Literal, and Capturing Kids Hearts — will greet attendees and share a brief message.
- Leadership Exchange Forum
Corporate sponsors will take the stage for a two-minute spotlight presentation to capture the attention of administrators interested in their Leadership Exchange Forum sessions. - Lunch & Networking
All participants are invited to lunch, sponsored by Summit K-12, VLK, EF Tours, and Amira. Each sponsor will share a short message with the group.- Table Host Sponsors — Lightspeed, Sibme, Immigr8, Graduation Alliance, and PPG Furnishings — will lead engaging conversations with attendees at their assigned tables.
- Focus Groups
In the afternoon, administrators will participate in focus group sessions, strategically assigned by the TALAS Executive Team and corporate partners. These small groups (5–8 administrators) will provide candid, confidential feedback on key educational topics. - Closing Recognition
Before the day concludes, educational leaders will meet with TALAS Executive Director, Dr. Celina Estrada Thomas, who will present each with a token of appreciation for their participation.
